  1. the same color it is

  2. well the sky's color is just a reflection of the ocean's color so it would b blue unless the ocean suddenly changes color to purple or sumthin then i guess it would b purple.... -_-

  3. It would depend what time of day or night it is, where you are(your latitude, are you inland, on a mountain, by an ocean, etc.), any type of pollution, dust or smoke, if at night the phase and position of the moon, whether or not you are colorblind, the season, the amount of atmospheric activity, cloud conditions, humidity, your mental state, and what you ate for breakfast.

  4. If you cant see it there is no color, ask a blind person

  5. The sky has no colour unless you are looking at it, as colour and sound literally only exist in our minds. Prior to us perceiving colours, they exist only as electromagnetic waves of different frequencies moving through space. The cells in most of our eyes are sensitive to very narrow range of frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagn... which includes everything from radio waves all the way up to x-rays and gamma rays. When light of various frequencies strikes the retina the optic nerve sends electrical signals to the brain which in turn converts the signals into information which we then perceive as "colour".

Some people have a rare condition called synesthesia where perceptions are confused in the brain. People with this condition can feel, taste and hear colour when faced with visual stimuli. To some of these people a "loud shirt" is not just a metaphor; they literally "hear" colour.  (Other senses can be affected as well) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia

Of course even when you aren't looking at the sky, light rays are still being absorbed and scattered by the earth's atmosphere, which of course can still be measured with a spectrometer even when you aren't looking at it, but saying that it has colour is essentially meaningless.

This also relates to the question "If a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound?"

BTW, I don't think your question is dumb at all.
