What Color to Paint My Room?

I Just got dark blue Carpet in my room. What color should i paint the walls?

I RECOMMEND AN EGG  SHELLCOLOR - I ALWAYS PAINT A LIGHT COLOR AND ONE THAT BLENDS WELL WITH WHAT IS IN THE ROOM - AND WHEN/IF U DECIDE TO SELL THE HOUSE THE COLOR WILL BE OK FOR THE NEXT OCCUPANT - NEVER PAINT A ROOM BRIGHT COLORS OR THE COLORS WILLOVERPOWER THE OTHER COLORS IN THE ROOM.  I ONCE FOUND A HOUSE THAT I LIKED BUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE HAD BEEN PAINTED A BRIGHT RED TEXTURED PAINT - IT WAS TOO TACKY FOR WORDS.

I DID NOT WANT TO DO THE ENTIRE HOUSE PAINTING OVER. U WILL HAVE COLORS IN WHAT U HANG ON THE WALLS- THAT SHOULD TAKE CARE OF ACCENTS.

OIL PAINTINGS ARE GREAT FOR A ROOM WITH PARCHMENT COLOR AND U WON'T GET TIRED OF IT.

I've said this quite a bit lately..........but just go get some flowers from nature and look at the color schemes......there's a lot of blue ones.........check out the color scheme's...They usally have at least 3 patterns of colors.......I do it for clothes , painting, and houses colors, after that just match them to color chips and mix your paint.

grayish blue is my best suggestion

it somehow matches with the carpet in my opinion. trust me i love to redecorate my house

Like, a tan or a baby pink.

A stark white would be pretty. You could use lime green and dark blue accents.

Medium Yellow. Something neutral, not boring.
