  21. Our zoo had a demo on this thought.  The egg needs to be turned in order to survive - thus there must have been SOMETHING OR SOMEONE turning the egg.  Most logically it was the chicken.  Thus the chicken came first.  

    unless.......(did someone else turn the egg)

  22. Chickens evolved from something that was not a chicken.  But individuals do not evolve, only populations evolve.  Therefore, the first chicken had to come from an egg that was laid by something that was not-quite-a-chicken.  

    So the egg came first.
