What Cord Would I Need For A SAMSUNG VP-D371WI?

I recently bought a Samsung VP-D371WI camcorder, now I need a cord for it, would anyone know what cord I'd need and where to get it?

I found a possible cord that might work but I think I might need a USB (male) to Firewire (female) connector, would anyone know if this is the case and where I can get one? Thanks so much guys!

The VP-D371WI is a MiniDV camcorder, so you need a firewire cable.  All firewire cables have plugs at each end, so there's no male / female issue.  At the camcorder end you'll need a 4 pin plug, but there's a choice at the PC end.  It'll be either 6 pin or 4 pin.  6 pin is the most likely, but some laptops have 4 pin sockets.  If your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card.  They're cheap, easy to install and readily available - any PC / electronics shop should stock them.  Some of the name brands are about twice as much as the generic stuff though, and they're no better.  

Firewire to USB cables are being advertised, but they're useless - it's like buying a special adapter so that you can fill your diesel tank with petrol.
