What Could be the worst think if I am involve in a cheating case on the regents exams?

My dumb friend copied me exactly all the anwers.

my teacher said they found we have the same anwers exept for the essays.

She told me also I get a 96 lol

well, if they think you cheated, then they might ask you questions about it.  but did u let him/her cheat with ur knowledge?? if not, u should tell the teacher, but privately and ask if you could remain anominous.  The worst they could do is either give you a zero on the test, suspend you or expel you (only of th teacher or principle doesn't like you), so I hope that helps.

your test could be discarded, and you could fail it, even though you did so good.

but, this girl copied me in my math regents on tuesday, and i told the teacher privatley, and the proctor told my teacher this girl was cheating off of me, so idk what happened to herr.
