What Country Did You Not Know About Before Watching Tennis?

Question

Watching tennis helps my geography immensely. I know a ton of European flags now. How about you. The country I didn't know about is Luxembourg because of Muller! Go Muller!

well i knew the names of countries but now i know the names of cities in particular countries.

like basel in switzerland(becuse of federer), mallorca(nadal).

also tennis has briught serbia into focus.

this is cool.we improve our knowledge by watching tennis.

definitely i know a lot more flags now.

I would have to say Slovakia or the Slovak Republic, depending on how you want to call it. I never heard of this country until I saw a player name Karina Habsudova in the mid 90's. Now Daniela Hantuchova has made that country very famous. And I remember the days when Elena Likhovtseva was the only notable Russian player on the tour. Seems like a million years ago but it was just about a decade ago and I believe Elena is still playing these days.

serbia.after seing womens players, and one mens player, i did..and yes you are very correct it does help you with all of that stuff..cause when i watch the US open (right now?( serena and venus are gonna play!) there are so many people from different countries
