  1. Maybe you should go to like maybe Britain.

  2. Canada and Belgium are two countries off the top of my head where French is spoken. There are also a number of countries in Africa where French is spoken, but I really wouldn't recommend any other African country for a high school program besides South Africa.

You can go here to do searches for a high school program, based on where you want to go and how long you want to stay ... click around and investigate the different programs. When you see one that interests you, drop them an email asking for more info. They will be happy to provide you with everything you need to know about studying in that country and what you can expect:

    Have a great time!

  3. You should do a school year program if possible. You should not go to a country that speaks English, it's not as good as an experience if you go to an english speaking country. If you want to learn French then you can go to France, Belgium or Switzerland because some regions speak French. Why not learn another language besides French? Go to Denmark and learn Danish, go to Finland and learn Finnish, go to Netherlands and learn Dutch or go to Sweden and learn Swedish. There are lots of options :)

Oh, and don't email that person above. You can't be sure that someone who comes on here and posts actually works with an organization. It could be a scam, so stay away from that.

  4. If you're interested, you and your parents can e-mail me at surey.isep@gmail.com. I currently work with a company that places international high school exchange students with host families in the US. If your family accepts, you can get a scholarship for your own studies abroad. You could go to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Ireland, FRANCE, or Germany. From personal experience, I can tell you that an academic year or semester abroad will give you the chance to live with a host family and experience a different culture while becoming truly fluent in another language. Plus, you'll meet people from all over the world. DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME FOR MORE INFO! I guarantee studying abroad is one experience you'll remember and cherish for the rest of your life!

  5. You could go to England, it's a lot better country than the US, but gas prices over there are much worse than we ever dreamed of.

  6. Well, Canda could be fun, though not too exotic. I would say still go to France. I think that it would be worth it! I've known people to do that and they loved it. Also, there are several countries in Africa that speak French. That would be so cool and very life changing! Good luck.
