  1. Powdered bird milk (pigeons feed their young a special milk made in their crop). You mix it to the consistency of loose pudding if the bird is down-feathered and make it thicker as it ages. Get a thin eye dropper (most of the pet stores carry one) because the thicker barrels ones are too large for their mouth. Squirt a drop or two at a time into the right side of their mouth. You will learn to gauge how much and how fast after a feeding or two. When the crop is full, the bird is full. Do not feed again until the crop empties or the food will sour in the crop and kill the bird.

    eye dropper from pet stores.

  2. Call Animal Control or the a wildlife rescue if you have on in the area It is best not to feed it anything. Please contact those places. They will take care of the baby pigeon, no charge

  3. IF their is no other way to solve the problem.

Get a syringe from a pharmacy and attach a small plastic (soft and flexible tube or pipe) about 2 inches long or 2.5 inches long. Get childern food (cerilac) the wheat mix powder the one the mix with water. Mix a little, open the bird mouth and insert the tube around enough depth so its in the birds sack or food back (roughly speaking) it should be abit inside then gently insert a little of food until the sack is abit filled. Whenver it is hungery it will sqeak and sqeak. I had a baby parrot who i rasied this way she is big now and can fly :). She also plays with me daily and very frendly. She is sleeping now by the way lol (its night time) i still feed her the childern food once a day cause she loves it alot.

  4. If he has all his baby feathers in, he may even feed himself.  Put some small seed on a table or floor - do not put it all in a bowl, the roundness sets off his pecking instinct.  Dip his beak in a small bowl of water as well since he's likely thirsty.

You can use dove mix to start him off on, parakeet seed, etc., and then shift him to pigeon feed with peas etc.

If you don't have any money but you have dried peas, unpopped popcorn, etc., you can use that. If you have BROWN rice, you can also use that.

If you're hand feeding, take a can of peas and blend it in a blender with enough water to make it medium soupy and squirt it into him - be careful not to get any into the hole you see in the bottom of his mouth, make sure the baster or squirter or whatever you're using goes back beyond that since it leads to his lungs.
