What DVD regions can I play in Australia?

I know Aus is region 4, but can I play others? I read somewhere that UK DVDs (region 2) will play. Will they all play on my laptop?

Besides region 4 you can play Region 0 - Worldwide region.

As you are using a laptop the best you can do is to use the region killer software as answered before.

It depends on the configuration of your dvd player... you can get software such as DVD region killer, which is freeware, but you may need to get someone who is computer savvy to set it up for you as it does need some tweaking at times.

Other than that, try borrowing various dvds to see whether they will play. If you use the region killer, it will cover all.

you need to get the dvd player specific that will play those regions, otherwise they prob wont play
