There are many degrees centered around stock brokering the best way to find out which one best suited to you is to leaf through reference books on the subject to find which one suits your particular skills and talent based on your previous experience than apply for a study course in the subject at your nearest college there you will gain the practical in`s and out`s on the subject and gain much understanding regarding the stages to be achieved before you can obtain certification and further yourself by means of employment or owning a business.

You dont need one to be a stockbroker.  All you need is to get hired by a company.  Get into their broker trainee program.  Pass the required certification exams.  And if you can sell, you're in business.  Its just like becoming a real estate agent or insurance salesman.  Get hired and get the certification.  Its a sales job.  If you want a degree I would suggest marketing or a liberal arts degree like psychology or philosophy.

A stockbroker is like a car salesman with a degree.  Thumb me down but it's true!

I have had friends that were psychology, computer science, accounting, and marketing degree graduates.  They really don't care what you have just as long as you complete their training and get accounts.

Marketing.  The key to being a stockbroker is being able to sell.  Everything you need to know to do it you learn on the job or through the exams you will have to take.  A finance degree is nice and will deepen your understanding of basic economics, but has very little to do with being able to sell stock.

You would want to get a Bachelor degree in Finance and maybe a Master in Business Administration. With the Master degree you go to school longer but your likely to get payed more.
