What Democrats can speak about the Bible with a mature Biblical understanding of its teachings?

Sorry, man, I missed the Fox talking points memo.  So a bit of information, if you can:

-What Biblical statement was made by a Democrat that you consider to exhibit immature understanding?

-Who made it?

-In what context was it made?

-The source of your information?

-The qualifications of the individual deeming the quote "immature?"

The fundamental Christian Right fully supports the conservative philosophy of the Republican Party, and because of that you believe the Party has a more mature handle on the Bible?  No way!
