What Did you guys think of The June 2008 US History Regent?

what did you guys think? I thought the mc was a little more challenging then previous years but the thematic made up for it

I got a 97 on it.

I got a 5 on both essays, accidently left one dbq question (1 point blank)

And got two mc wrong!

I am sooo happy!

I agree with you 100%....i didnt know a few MC because our teacher teaches us NOTHING, but the thematic? I love NYS when they treat us like idiots.... =D

I also thought Multipul Choice were harder this year! Not by much but they definately had some tricky ones.

The thematic was amazing. So was the DBQ. They both were concepts from past regents so I already knew the answers to them.

Overall it was very easy. Alot easier than the Chemistry or the Math B.

Did anyone else in 10 grade take them?

what did clinton do involving middle east policy? I know about hte camp david accords with carter so I chose the middle east interventiion as my answer but im just wondering... and Bree, you've been in every single US HIstory regents forum telling everyone u got a 97 on the regents, get over it.

I thought it was by far the easiest regents this year, out of math b and chem. As long as you know about how the government works, and about recent presidents, it was no problem.

i didnt put "in document 1.." in the essay either. the multiple choice was definately tricky compared to practices tests i used.

for the 9/11 question i put they helped overthrow the taliban or whatever

yeah L I did the same exact thing. I felt so stupid afterwards because I remember for Global regents I forced myself to remember not do it. And, no you won't get a zero but the highest you can get is a 3.

yea, the multiple choice was kinda hard, compared to all those practice regents tests that we reviewed in class.  i htink all of the social studies finals and regents were all preety much the same difficulty/easiness.  

but the us history regents was a grateful gift compared to the chem and math b tests this week

but think of it this way, NO MORE SS REGENTS!!! WERE GONNA BE SENIORS IN A COUPLE MONTHS!!

Honestly im such an idiot because i forgot to mention any of the documents in the dbq essay. I just basically used all different examples from the documents but didnt say "document 1"or whatever. Do you think the essay will get a zero then? also yes the multiple choice was fairly difficult.

for the dbq i was taught that you shoulodn't put as stated in document whatever but what my techer told us to do was that on the side make brackets after what you wrote like this

the test was definatleyy easier than global last year, that test was hard and i pulled off a 78 on it.
