  1. mercury and Venus are closer to the sun the have different atmospherical make ups they are smaller than the earth  a day on venus (the time it takes to spin on its axis) is longer than its year (the time it takes to orbit the sun) there is life on earth

  2. In addition, both Venus and Mercury (the side that faces the sun, anyway) are MUCH MUCH hotter.

Venus has an extremely thick atmosphere, which is made of what is essentially battery acid.  Mercury has no atmosphere.  Earth obviously has an atmosphere too :P

Neither Venus nor Mercury have robust (read: hardly even measurable) magnetic fields, whereas Earth's magnetic field protects us from being constantly bombarded by various harmful emissions.

Venus' surface pressure is extreme, Mercury's is practically non-existent.  Earth's is obviously what we experience daily.

Earth has a moon that is GIGANTIC proportionate to its size, neither Venus nor Mercury have any known satellites (fancy word for moons).

I can't think of anything else right now...but there are definitely a LOT of differences.
