What Digital Camera Can Pause In The Middle Of Videos?

I Need A Camera To Have A Pause Feature In The Middle Of The Video So We Can Go To Somewhere Else And Film and then resume it. I Had A Friend That Had A Nikon Cool-pix But I Don't Remember What Kind It Was. I'm Trying To Find One. Please Respond!

You sure it was able to be paused and then continue writing to the same file?  Most cameras do not work that way.  Pause is a playback feature, not a recording feature.  You can stop your recording so that each scene is it's own file.  Then you can combine them on the computer into one file.
