I am 15, 5 feet 6 inches and i weigh 135. I am going to race. if i were to get a two stroke i would get the kx100, kx125,or cr125. If i were get a 4 stroke it would a kx250f or crf250r. Only those bikes.I already know that i am getting a 250 later on down the road the problem is if i can handle it right now. So i should get the two stroke now cause i can probably better handle it, and then sell it later and get the 250.Or should i get the 250 right away. And if i were to get the two stroke first should i get the 100 or 125. I dont care about the cost or the maintence just about if its to big.

  1. i would prob. go with the 250 either honda or kawaski because there both good bikes.the reason why you should just go to the 250 is because youll out grow the 100 to fast at 5 feet 6 inches in my opinion if it is to big you can always lower the suspension a little or put a seat on it that is not as tall.

  2. kx 500. were about the same and i ride a kx 500

  3. Don't waste your time and money, get the 250F now. You are too tall for the 100, and a 125 is just a waste of money if you plan to race competitively.

  4. if i were you i would get the kx125 cause its about right to fit your age and wieght!!!! have fun riding!!

p.s. i perfer four wheeling but dirt bikes are fun to!!☺

  5. a blue one!

  6. i'd go for the kx or cr125 mainly because that is a good starting out size and you can get a 250 later. i started on a 125 when i was 14, 5'6" tall and around 140lbs  and it was a good starting bike for me. i also have a 230 trail bike but as for the racing bike, personally i prefer something smaller because i feel i have more control, but it really depends on how confident you feel on the bike.

  7. i race alot and i am13 years old  5'5" 110 pounds and i'm on a 250 already but i have rode since i was 4 and raced about 7 years so i am use 2 it i would get the 125 first 2 stroke and go KTM all the way

  8. get the kx250f there a great bike

  9. It must sound strange for you to think 80 small wheel, bigwheel, 100 small /big 125 small/ big 250 2stroke 400 four stroke 450 500.   this is how racers develope. from the age of 2 or 3. but its true. at 15 go ride your bike. these kids know tricks you will never learn in time to be competetive. this is a hard truth. you may have the will to learn but your too far behind to teach.  have fun on whatever you ride. but to think you will ever be competetive in serious sport is unrealistic.

    Sad but true

  10. If you are 15 and going to race I would go with the Crf250r as the bike will last you longer.  If you are concerned about your height you can always use starting blocks for the start line if you have trouble there.
