What Do American`s Feel about Pre Kindergarten Programs??

  1. mandatory kindergarten? Sounds like another way for the "state" to influence and or propagandize young children.  i wonder if they'll be endorsing any "behaviors" without parental permission or information on what is being "taught" in the re-education camp similar to what happened to the 8 year old kids in north carolina.  no parental notification and indoctrination with a certain "behavior" as normal and natural.


  2. I like them. They should be mandatory here. I don't understand why they aren't.

  3. I think its a good way for children to get used to the idea of school, especially ones that have never been in childcare or away from their mom. I do think it's better if its only half days or 2-3 days per wk. My son is going to preschool 3 mornings per week for this reason and to be around children his age. He actually has been tested and it already ready for kindergarten b/c of what I have taught him at home, so it's not really for learning a whole lot, but it will still be good for him since I have always stayed at home with my children.
