  1. You could go to the pet store and get some crickets, but i doubt it is that small. Pinkie mice will fit, believe it or not. I hope this helps.

  2. hey, pinkies are fine, this is what they are first fed when they are born so dont worry, we have 2 adult corns and are currently incubating 15 eggs, they will be fed pinkies when they hatch roughly 1 week after they crack through eggs, if it doesnt take the pinky, try slicing into the pinkies brain, not nice i know but it will encourage the snake to start feeding, good luck!!

  3. Are you claiming that your Grandmother found a wild corn snake in Canada? If so, I highly doubt that it's a corn snake.

You need to identify what you have before you can determine its correct diet. You should start by looking in a field guide.

But yes, baby corn snakes eat newborn mice.

  4. Even new born corns can eat a 1-3 day old pinkie...it's amazing to watch.  I use frozen/thawed with my corns.

  5. I feed my runts half a pinky which they do fine on. But for a 30 cm snake a whole pinky should be no problem at all. In the near future you will also want to consider feeding 2 pinkies in one feeding session.

  6. You'd be amazed at the way a baby corn will "hork down" a pinky that looks impossibly large.  Just make sure the pinky's head is no bigger than the snakelings head and you should be fine.  Be sure to offer it a hot spot (83-85* F) and a quiet place to digest.

    Good luck!
