Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

    It is better to try to aim for a challenge, and to know you did even if you failed, then to remain in silent insecurities and never experience neither victory or defeat.



    it can also mean

    its better to try then to never try at all

    also the part about

    "who neither enjoy nor suffer much"

    Remember that if you don't understand suffering, you will never understand the true feeling of Happiness
