What Do You Call The Little Balls of Fur You Get On Your Old Clothes?

you know, everyone's had them...the little ball thingies on your sweaters or on the side of your shirt where you've rubbed your purse along it too much....??

Fabric pills. They sell little fabric shavers to remove them, or you can use an inexpensive disposable razor to shave them right off.
