What Do You Need To Open A Small Grocery Store?

What would all of the required things be if you where looking to open up a local grocery store?

The basics: milk, butter, eggs.

What the area I'm located in

uses regularly.

Paper products: toilet tissue,

facial tissue, paper towels.

The other items:  fruits and

vegetables.

Some lotions, creams,

rubbing alcohol, etc.

First, get a license to operate and that includes all the tax certifications like sales tax, withholding taxes, etc.  Do a manpower count in your targeted place just to estimate how profitable will you be.  Get your inventory.  It would be nice too to allot some money for advertising.
