What is a 12+?

With regard to a victory lap ...

You won a high school race ... BIG DEAL!  You want to take a victory lap?   Did you set a national high school record?  Did you win an Olympic gold medal?  Did you break a 50 year old local high school record in front of your home crowd?  Did you find the cure for cancer?

If you did one of those things then MAYBE.  But, if you've only won a local high school swim race you've done little.  

Besides, taking a victory lap for winning an insignificant race is like "rubbing your win in" and that is unsportsmanlike ... and just plain egoistic, vain, and stupid.

Get over yourself ... you're not that important nor is a race.
