don't get me wrong, the notebook was amazinggg! its my favorite movie and i love it! but i recently watched Message In A Bottle and i was pretty disappointed in it. and also The new Nights In Rodanthe, to me i always pictured the characters being younger, but i still hope its a really good movie!

Did you think the books that got made into movies so far live up to the books?

thanks for your answers! =]

  1. I love Nicholas Sparks' books, but I've never seen a movie I have enjoyed more than the book.

I've been told DiVinci Code is one that does, but I haven't seen the movie yet.

  2. The movies never live up to the books. I have cravings for Nicholas Sparks books my mom and I love them. I too agree that Message in a Bottle, The Notebook, and A Walk to Remember were good movies but each time I was a little put out because the books were so amazing! The books always trigger more emotion then the movies.

  3. I loved The Notebook, but I agree that the characters in Nights in Rodanthe are a bit on the older side. But in the novel they were around that age too, so I think the movie stays true to that aspect of the book.

  4. I love Nicholas Sparks Books so much & they have a high reputation.

I think the Notebook & A Walk to Remember were both amazing movies and they did a wonderful job of making Sparks' books come alive. Message In A Bottle didn't do it for me. & I didn't see Nights in Rodanthe or anything about it but I would love to see it because its another great book.
