  1. If a child that was close to me died the way she did and the murderer was never caught, I would probably be obsessed with solving the crime, too. I'm sure it also has to bother the people that were originally involved in the investigation. When you're close to a situation like that, it's hard to just let it go........

  2. Because it is interesting it involves death and a cute 6 year old and it unsolved I mean if you are a parent you should be scared because 11 years have passed and still not Justice and there could be a killer on the loose too and yes they need to let her rest in peace

  3. They can't let go because it sells magazines, and people are just curious I guess.

  4. Hmm. Her mom did it. There, I solved it. They can get over it now.

Just kidding. I think anyone that dwells on a public interest story for too long needs to get a life.

  5. Jonbenet went through a gruesome murder. the thing that bothered me was how tightly she was choked. she was found in her own home!! her OWN home when her father made the discovery. so either somebody came killed her, or was already in the house and just waited for her. or maybe she was somewhere else and they put her back in the house. the reason why people can't forget is because the person who did is not caught. its like a savage lion on the loose and people want justice for it. they want this killer off the streets. and its very frustrating. try watching Unsolved Mysteries on YOutube, you'd be pretty angry at some of the unsolved cases.

  6. It's mostly the tabloids who are interested. They keep putting her picture on their papers and people keep looking because there isn't anything else to look at. It would be better if they came up with another story to follow.

  7. People are interested because it is not solved ...

  8. It's still interesting and unsolved.

I'm not into the whole crime scene, but there are plenty of other unsolved murders and disappearences.

And there still are people who claim Elvis is alive, so I deem the JonBenet obsessers slightly more sane.

  9. it will be something that will emerge again and again   like diana   and marlyn and JFK there will always be those who will dig and dig

it will not change the overall outcome they are dead  but it is a way for someone to make money   or a tv programme  or a new book
