What Do You Think Of Randy Orton Capturing The Top Spot In The 2008 PWI 500?

Cena was hurt for a good portion of 2007 and 2008 (the grading period goes from August to August) that's why Orton got higher than Cena. It's a mark magazine anyway. Of course Bryan Danielson should be number one. Put PWI is so pro WWE it's not even funny.

Bah its just a publicity stunt to sell more magazines.  At least Cena did not get it for 3 straight years.  You got to think of it from a business perspective.....who actually buys the magazine?  Is it WWE marks, internet marks, the pro-wrestlers themselves who want to be noticed or the causal fan who buys maybe 3 issues a year.   Randy Orton had a big year but was his rise to the top more important than say Samoa Joe finally beating Kurt Angle or CM Punk finally becoming World Champion?  That's a matter of opinion.  The whole list is made to start discussions who is the best not to define who is actually the best.  We all know the best pro wrestler in the world is from japan and is a semi-regular of ROH......or maybe its that luchador vet who works in Mexico City who draws 15,000 on a weekly basis.

I think he is deserving of the title. I mean reguardless of his attitude ouside the ring, nobody can take away the fact that he is in great physical shape and a great technical wrestler in today's wrestling business. they dont call him a ring general for nothing

Orton had a terrible year, he won at what? 2 PPV's?

and he jobbed on 3 consicutive PPV's to HHH, Undertaker, Edge , Triple H had a much better.

HHH wasn't pinned the entire year, h**l Samoa Joe had a better year than Orton.

i think that PWI has turned into nothing but some overrated pice of S**t if u ask me.

this is a mark magazine, and takes it by its storlynes , ok, i get that.

if we wana judge by talent, i'd put Bryan Danielson, Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels(if he was used to his potentiols), Hiroshi Tanahashi, Yugi Nagata anyday above Orton ...
