Yeah well I don't like it either. When nascar changes their acronym to nacotar, what it really is now, then at least they won't be lying to themselves and trying to fool us.

I do not particularly care for the cookie cutter car of tomorrow.  However, it seems really safe and think safety was Nascar's goal.  If it can save one driver from serious injury and/or death then I think it's ok.

How bad do you think Michael McDowell would have been hurt when he flipped his car in qualifying if he had not been in the COT?

Dirt racing is cool.  I wish the drivers could do more Eldora's...

I like the COT, it allows for closer racing, which I think is more exciting.

i like the safety of the cot, but i will be happier with it when they figure it out more, and they will. nascar may have to tweak things to get them to be able to pass more and not have the race out of the pits give such a great advantage. since we know they will never be anything like something that was produced they should have to change their name. i bet if someone checked nascars copyright they probably are not in compliance with the new cars to even keep the name.

And I think its ok. I mean if I had my choice I would have liked them to stick with the old car but nascar is gonna do what they want and there really isn't anything anyone can do about it.

Well the Michael McDowell crash definetely proved that the COT safety improvements definetely work. That being said, I think the racing is not an exciting as it was with the old car.

I do not like the COT as much as last years car.  They have taken the fun out of racing and making it so there is really no challenge to it all.  The cars are so similiar now that it is just not really fun to watch anymore.  I have fallen asleep on several occassions this year due to lack of "racing".  With everyone equal on the track, its just plain boring.

I like that the cars are safer for the drivers, but....it needs to be more of a challenge to win..
