What Do You Think Of The Show "Ghost Hunters"?

I have never watched an episode so I have no idea what the show is like. I saw it on sale on DVD and wanted to know, mainly from the paranormal crowd here, on how the show is.

Lithium, it's okay, it's on the Science FICTION channel :)  

My opinion that as paranormal shows go, it's not bad. In fact, they do seem to make an effort to look for natural causes first. But they are not as thorough as they could be and tend to gravitate towards the paranormal pretty quick. Some of the paranormal logic they use is also a little hokey, but hey, it's entertainment.

OMG that is my fav show. i love that show so much. i am actually ADDICTED to it. and 4 some of you out there. yes it is on the science FICTION channel but you must not read up on the scifi website. they have the FICTION shows like Stargate SG-1 and Tin Man, blah blah blah. and they have the reality shows such as Ghost Hunters. anyway to get back to your question. this is mainly about 2 Roto-Rooter plumbers named Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. They have an entire team just like any other ghost hunter team. their day job is being plumbers and their "night" job i guess is being a ghost hunter.they listen to the claims of the owners of the "haunted" place. then they set up all their equipment and turn off all the lights. then they start investigating. they sometimes have personal experiences and they use those to tell to the people(owners). then they analyze all the evidence. sometimes they find things and sometimes they dont but it is an awesome show and i would reccommend it to anyone who likes the paranormal. thanx 4 asking. and i hope i helped!!!

I'm annoyed that a channel that uses the word "science" in its name would lend any credence to such a ridiculous and fraudulent enterprise as ghost-hunting.

It is well-documented that ghost hunters are either

a)  simply conning people out of money, or

b)  delusional, and actually believe they are detecting ghosts

Most of 'em fall into the first category.

Good Day,

   Like the show.  I think they are stand up guys.  I like the fact that they don't go ninny nuts like other shows.  They keep their heads straight and are willing to come away from an investigation with no "proof".  Some one who can be that honest is good in my book.

it is probably the closest your going to come to a really unbiased accounting if ghosts hunting. Te simple fact is that like all shows such as this, they are entertainment. But when placed against such nonsense as Most Haunted, well there is not much of a hard choice here. When watching any of these programs, take into account there is money and TV share ratings involved here.. While they're premise is to go in with a negative attitude about hauntings, they need to be much harder than they are on their evidence. But placed up against other shows including this paranormal state, they still have a foot up on the competition.
