What Do You Think Of These Sibling Names?

I do not want comments on individual names.

Or that they are too long. My SO has a short surname.

Just the following.

Do each combination sound and flow well?

Does each combination sound good with the other siblings?

Paul Séamus Jefferson Padraig

Rose Innogen Norma Padraig

Lachlann Brolly Russel Padraig "Loki"

Moira Tallulah Jane Padraig

Ceallach Dougal Gene Padraig "Kelly"

Fallon Ciara Joy Padraig "Fallie"

Padraig is the substitute surname. The real one is very similar.

SO is Scottish / Irish, and I am Irish.

Séamus, Innogen, Lachlann, Brolly, Moira, Tallulah, Ceallach, Dougal, Fallon, and Ciara are for our Celtic roots.

Jefferson (SO is Jeffrey), Norma (Favorite Great Aunt), Russel (Favorite Great Uncle; Deceased), Jane (Great Grandmother; Deceased: Grandmother), Gene (Step Grandfather), and Joy (Mother) are all family names.

  1. Don't use Brolly...it's an umbrella!

  2. I suppose each combination sounds alright with the other siblings. But they're pretty dreadful names.

  3. Like I said in my other post, Paul and Rose were sort of "good ol' American" names, the rest are really Irish.  It's not a bad combination, just that those two seem to stand out a bit more.

  4. Paul and Rose definitely stand out. Along with Fallon, Lachlan, & Russel, however, they're the only ones who sound nice in this whole concoction in my opinion The rest look and sound a bit like regurgitated scrabble pieces to be completely honest.

  5. For a boy I would choose Lachlann Jeffrey Russel

and for a girl I would choose Rose Norma Jane

  6. I think all of your names are pretty, and special, being named after your family members, they sound pretty together,

  7. I would switch Paul and Seamus around (Seamus Paul Jefferson)

I would also mix and match to Moira Innogen Norma.

My sisters name is Moira spelt Maire (the Irish version apparantly)
