I know many people who go to that school. What do you think about the whole shooting ordeal?

  1. This is what I know:

    1) There was an argument between King and that other kid.

    2) King had a crush on the shooter, and thus leading to the event. The shooter had been made fun of by his friends, and this lead to him eventually shooting King.

    3) I don't doubt this was a hate crime; I was also aggravated by the same child when I was in that school last year. He's homophobic anyways.

It's terrible...nowadays, there's not much we can do about homophobia and such. I feel bad for Larry; his death was a undeserved one. I remember telling him last year--when we talked:

"No one is going to kill you because you're g*y. Not in this country. Look at me! I'm not dead, yet everyone knows I'm g*y."

Now, I revel in regret in saying such a thing.

    At least he's better now.

  2. I actaully go to the high school down the street...helicopters were everywhere...it was pretty sad..didnt they shoot the kid because he was g*y or something?...talk about a hate crime..

  3. I don't know  much of the specifics of tghe shooting itself. My cousin goes there and he was really shaken up by the whole incident. Two years ago in my seventh grade year, my freind was stabbed in the leg at E.O. Green. It is sad that the nieghborhood I grew up in is this unsafe.

  4. ya know bear's bi, don't you?

  5. You'd think people would be more tolerant of each other. I think if the shooter would have been in high school or somewhat older, he would understand that people are different and it gives him no reason to kill someone because he doesn't like how he dresses like.

I used to think that people in younger generations would not be homophomic, or racist or sexist or anything else because I thought they had grown up in a society that liked all kinds of people.

  6. People need to be way more tolerant. Everyone deserves to live and no one should take the life of someone else
