what to does anyone know about him. Is he any good?

2nd round pick by l.a. lakers who just signed him. he's a 6'9" point guard out of china with above average athletic ability, has some range and is a good ball handler and passer. he had some good moments vs. the us in their match-up, but he'll probably need a lot of seasoning and learn the rigors of the NBA. still 6'9" at the point guard position is enticing.

Standing at 6'9", Sun Yue can play both Gs and SF, and so far his best position is SG, which is the position he primarily plays in national team.

Sun's game is built on athleticism (he is a sought-after dunker) and versatility, and occasionally one may wonder if he portrays T-Mac to develop his game, but he is some way off to play in NBA given his shooting inconsistency, physical-wise a less competitive body and average defense.

My projection is his first season could be a tour to NBDL - Coby Karl is quietly impressive and sounds more ready to fill a backup off guard role. The good news for Sun is that he is playing in the more offensive-minded West, or his weaknesses would be easily shown to and attacked by opponents in the East.

Let's see if he can adapt the game in 2 years.
