What Does 'Birds-Eye-View' Mean?

If you had to draw a house or building in 'birds-eye-view', then how would you draw that?

it means that you are looking down on it. ex: if a person is standing and you are a bird you would only see the persons hair/ top of the head, when you fly over it... hope that didnt sound too confusing lol.. good luck(:

A view from above (like a bird).

Here is Merriam Webster's definition: "a view from a high angle as if seen by a bird in flight."  However, if you want to draw birds eye view of a  house, seeing what a bird actually sees obviously isn't very helpful.  Rather, this usually refers to a house drawn from above with the roof and ceiling removed, leaving a floor plan.
