What Does It Look Like In Connecting Staterooms?

I'm planning a cruise on RCCL Freedom of the Seas. I like my stateroom amidships. I had to take a connecting stateroom. Has anyone taken a RCCL cruise and had a connecting stateroom? Where is the connecting door and/or is the layout of the room the same as with a regular stateroom, IE: Queen bed, 2 seater sofa, desk etc? Thanks.

  1. Yes, the rooms are exactly the same, the queen bed, couch and all, the only thing is there is a door on the side of the room.  But you would need a key to open it (from the service desk, and it would need to be unlocked on both sides)  So you or the other person will not be able to get in.  Plus you cant hear anything from the other side.  Enjoy!!!!!

  2. Similar to a hotel room with connecting rooms a ships cabin is a bedroom with a two way door vs. a solid wall. This is handy for groups of friends traveling together or families so everyone doesn't have to walk out into the hallway. Great for when traveling while celebrating like a girls get away etc.
