What Does It Mean When Your Ex Contacts You?

My ex contacted me after 8 months of NO CONTACT. We were together for 3 years, and he dumped me for another chick. He got her pregnant only 2 months into their relationship. He sent me an e-mail asking how I was doing and hopes he hears from me soon, even though he was the one who did the cheating, lying, dumping, and impregnating...his baby will be born next month for cryin' out loud! What do you think is going on in his mind?

Stay away he is obviously wanting a confidence boost at any expense or anyone's expense.  Don't be sucked it is hurtful and probably just as you are getting over him, he appears again.  He has a responsiblity to his child and a responsibility to support the other women.  He has ruin enough people's life and must have no respect for women.  Tell him you are dating a new man who has morales.

It means he's bored with his new relationship and has 'gone off' her because she's pegnant.  Now he fancies a change and thinks you will be an easy target.  Don't be.

It could be he wants you back or it could be that you've spent 3 years together, know eachother extremely well and hes panicing and wants you're advice - as a friend.

Perhaps you should e-mail him back and ask what he wants I mean you have a right to know after how hes treated you previously.

do not give him the satisfaction of thinking you might still care and that after all he did you still answered him only goes to show that you do care...obviously you would cause you been together for so long but now that he's going to have a newborn he probably is just feeling some sort of regret or loneliness whatever it is don't give him the time of day.. he hurted you before don't let him have the chance again... but really it's your choice here, go with your best judgement...maybe see what he wants then toy with his emotions ;) good luck

It means he is regretting dumping you, now he has got some girl pregnant, he is most probably using you, dont take him back whatever you do, be friendly but dont get into anything
