  1. Liberals believe in loving thy neighbor as thyself....conservatives believe in allowing the most corrupt rich people to have it all. Many Conservatives are ignorant people who have been fooled to vote against their own best interests.

  2. First understand that republicans in office are mostly NOT conservative

    and democrats are rarely liberal.

Liberals are more community oriented, while conservatives are individual oriented

    conservatives believe in:

    Small govt

    Low taxes

    Laissez faire economics

    Isolationism

    No nation building

    States rights

    Privacy rights

as you can see Bush is against most of that

    Liberals believe:

Govt should help those down and out

Govt should provide for the common good

Govt should regulate industry to protect people

Govt should maintain a strong infastructure

Govt Should protect civil rights-blacks, g**s, etc

Govt should not crack down on nudity- like the FCC does

Govt should not decide what a woman does with her body, or anyone eelse does with their body for that matter

  3. it means you are more into parties than the good of the country

  4. to be liberal you only need to close your mind to reason.remember there is only one side to every argument and you are on the correct side. you need to hate the country you live in and everyone who has worked and succeeded. you see people like Peosi as good .

to be a conservative you love your country and see a bright future for the generations to come . you don't want the government telling you what to do. you believe in lower taxes and choice in health care. you see the traditions of this great country like God as good. you see people like Pelosi as bad.

  5. liberal: open to change

conservative: doesn't like change. prefers tradition

  6. if you hate just about anybody and don't care about human rights except your own, you can bet you're a con

  7. Despite what they claim, conservatives are very much Corporate America and America's labor force is a tool to be exploited for profit without regard to the damage they do to their own economy.  Conservatives believe that the U.S. Constitution is a contract between the people and the states and the Federal government.

Liberals believe that the Constitution is a non-binding, living document that they can twist and distort to their convenience through legislative or legal action whenever it suits their political needs.  Liberals are of two classes, those of us who actually sweat for a living and those who make their living in politics and who have become disjointed from the rest of us.

Our problems are not as much with liberals or conservatives as they are with ourselves and our personal values and moral compass.  If you stand for nothing you'll fall for anything, and that's where we've been going.  How can we elect somebody with values if we have none ourselves?  Democrats and Republicans truly represent their constituents and none of us like what we see.

  8. Liberal: Terrorist supporter, pro-death (abortion), care more about money than morals, think they are better than others, etc.

    Conservative: Patriot

That pretty much sums it up these days.

  9. Liberalism:  In the context of social politics, it usually means certain people (g**s, minorities) having many rights, sometimes them having more rights than other groups.  They are also about political correctness and limiting freedom of speech so that no ones feelings get hurt.  Economically, it is basically socialism.

Conservatism:  Socially, it means limiting the rights of certain groups (g**s, not so much minorities) for the sake of upholding traditional values.  However, it supports true freedom of speech as long as it doesn't fall under treason or libel.  Economically capitalist.

Personally, I agree with conservatism more than liberalism, although I don't mind g*y marriage or g**s adopting children, and I don't think our freedoms should be limited for the sake of "traditional values" as that is up to the parents to teach their children, not for the government to teach us.
