it's not his choice which conference his team is in...sure it's weaker but he has nothing to do with that...he took the celtics to 7 games while the winner of the so called powerfull west took them to 6

Players numbers should be higher in the West considering the Lack of Defense played...MAVS,GSW,LAL,Nuggets,Suns none of them are good defensive teams, and they made up half of  the playoffs in the West...LBJ playing in the East is nothing, but an excuse...Its funny how since 2004 the Spurs are the only team to win a Championship, The East has had 3 differnt franchise become champs.....

i dont think it does, the east in 08 is not the east of 07, its much better & got alot better after the recent draft & trades.

For Lebron James' individual performance in the Easten Conference he is one of the best players in the NBA.The Cavaliers play great defensive teams like Detroit,Chicago,and Boston.And teams with good defenders in the post where Lebron does a lot of scoring like Dwight Howard,Samuel Dalembert,Emeka Okafor,and Andrew Bogut.That doesn't include a few teams in the East but there are soft defensive teams in the West like Dallas,Golden State,Seattle,Memphis,Phoenix and overall the West has not been as good defensively.

let see the reason why boston beat the lakers so easly is because the west was so competeful thet you had to play all of your energy to BARELY make the playoffs you see denver what 45 or 46 games just to make the 8th spot the east you had 2 or 3 teams the under .500 that made the playoffs i mean the west is so strong that by the time you get to the playoffs you're tired...if the blazer was in the east they will be like what number 4 or 5??????boston just had an easy road to the final while the lakers had to go against the defending world champ and most of the lakers game are overtime...so that means boston had a break and the lakers had to work their @$$ off just to make it to the finals so all the lebron and boston fans need to watch the west more carefully b4 u guys make a statement of kobe cant get his team a championship........

the east in undoubtedly easier to win in, but that doesn't take away anything from Lebron's talent level.

with his current team, he wouldn't make the playoffs playing in the west. he would get his numbers but a championship is what makes greats! right now with the squad he got, the east works out better 4 them.
