80's pop crooner rick astley's video for 'never gonna give you up' appears places it shouldn't.  most commonly on youtube, occasionally at football games etc. like say you search for a video of coldplay either halfway through or right at the start rick bloody astley will pop up.  its really annoying.

its common on youtube when u click on a video and it comes up "youve just been rick rolld" and then it plays some 80's song so its a fake vid basically, i think that people that make them are stupid because they just waste everyones time and i should be starting a youtube campaign against rick rollers!

If you watch his music video either via YouTube or the actual annoying Rick Rolls website (where loads of popups appear and it takes years to close the windows) you are said to be "Rick Rolled".
