  1. i  think it means honor, courage that it may be that we can overcome our fears and difficulties

  2. Nothing, I'm not a Marine but it is a good saying.

  3. Everything.

@psychedelic harry.....the 11th infantry can suck *******, the Army has no place using that

  4. A Quote in my MCJROTC:

"Semper Fidelis- It means always faithful. It means when you stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow Marines, you stand among family. Thousands strong, you and those beside you will own the privilege of continuing the rich heritage of dedication and honor passed down since the time this nation was born. And even after you put the uniform away, your place as a Marine will remain. You will always be counted as on of the few."

To me, it means I will be loyal to my brothers-in-arm in the fututre and I will give up my life for anyone them

  5. Always Faithful. To country, family, fellow soldiers. Honor, duty and trust.

And Vernon, you are right. You can take the man out of the Marines but you can't take the Marine out of the man.

  6. it means ALWAYS FAITHFUL

  7. It means good job killing the enemy fellas, and keep up the good work.

  8. Always Faithful and to live by the Marine Code

  9. .

Always Faithful is to God,Country,Corps,Family.Friends and sets the values in which you live your life.

No one can take it away because it is an inner spirt that will live with you forever.

  10. Always Faithful

  11. "Always Faithful" -- regimental motto of the 11th Army Infantry Regiment.

  12. Always Faithful, the Marine Corps motto, adopted in 1883 on the initiative of Colonel Charles McCawley, the 8th Commandant of the Marine Corps.  It's also the name of a march composed by John Philip Sousa in 1889, the official march of the United States Marine Corps.

  13. To a Marine, it means never letting your comrades down, to always uphold the sense of duty and honor taught to us in basic training and throughout our time in the active duty status. Once a Marine always a marine is more than a saying, it is a commitment to the nation, and so we remain semper fidelis, always faithful.
