  1. AWESOME. and... it's healthy =)

you can't ask for a better combination

try the eels, they're my personal fav.

  2. It not only tastes good. It is good for you.

  3. i love it. it should be firm,  not smelly, bright in colour ,and from a good restaurant. it is a very clean taste. if you like really hot mustard then try it with a small dab of wasabi. if not fish sauce or soy . i like it just the way it is . i'm a seafood junkie . my partner only likes the tuna . i prefer the salmon and the prawn. i also enjoy the roe. give it a try , if you don't like it there's usually plenty of things on the menu you will like. like terryaki. let me know how you go

  4. It doesn't taste like chicken, lol.

There are many kinds of sushi, and each one tastes differently.  Some sushi features cooked shrimp, and strangely enough, it tastes like cooked shrimp.

Most of the raw fish sushi has a unique flavor that is enhanced by dipping the fish into soy sauce.  Sushi is also served with wasabi, which is similar to horseradish.

The easiest way to get into sushi is to try something like California roll, which has cucumbers and avocado and usually fake crab meat.  Most people enjoy that, and you'll get a feel for the flavor and texture of sushi.

My own favorite is toro, or meat taken from the belly of a tuna.  It has a flavor similar to ham or prosciutto, but not smoky.  It's hard to explain.  Try it, you'll like it.

  5. I prefer sushi to any other food on earth, and I have traveled a lot and eaten lots and lots of different kinds of food.  Good sushi is very fresh and does not smell "fishy", it has a clean oceany smell and a clean taste.  It is not "spicy hot", it has a mild flavor, which can be enhanced to your taste with wasabi, which is a Japanese mustard, or another sauce.  Try it, you'll like it, but make sure you go to a good restaurant, not a fast-food Japanese style joint.
