What Does it take to become a Swedish Residents?

My friend over seas has an arpment in sweden, I might want to move in and make a living there, i live in usa at the moment, what would i have to do to become a citizen there? What fourms would i have to fill out, where can i find these? how would i become a citizen once iam there?
