What Does "Sortation Center Departure" Mean?

I ordered something online and it says that. I live in Kansas City, Mo. Well Close to it and it said it was picked up last night at 10:36 Pm. In Earth City. (Earth City is about an Hour Away from Saint Louis) When will my package get to my house? Monday? Or Tuesday???

And what does that mean? That FedEx picked up my package?

I'm thinking Sortation Center is the Sorting Center and that would be the time it left the sorting...sorry sortation (what a stupid word) center.

If it was being delivered by FedEx, then probably was picked up by them at that time.

By the time I type this you probably already have it...enjoy it.
