What Does the Closure of Indybank Portend? How will people who had over $100,000 in that bank get there money back!!!??

  1. It portends more bank failures, further debasing of the dollar, and all the "good" stuff that follows as a consequent of the latter.

    I don't think the people who had over $100k will receive compensation beyond $100k.

    Let's see some more record high's in oil!


  2. Closure of lots of banks unless we, the taxpayers, bail them out. And that, my friend, is so unfair to the individual who must pay back when they go bankrupt.

It most likely portends that there will be others following in the wake.  In the past the government has been very lenient on the $100,000 limit as when the S&Ls went belly up.  I don't know why.  I expect it is because they love to give other people's money away.  There might be something in chaos theory that describes current events.  Or maybe it is just political stupidity.
