  1. As for a point I don't know but it sure a h**l keeps it over there instead of here. That's good enough for me

  2. I proves we as humans have not yet reached a level of sophistication where War can be eliminated as a viable option for solving our problems. maybe some day the world will learn a better way.

  3. It proves you won't stand for terrorism. Did you just want to sit and cry after 9/11 or something?

  4. It proves who has a bigger...you know...army.

  5. War proves that no matter how good or righteous you are, if you aren't prepared to defend what is good and righteous, then you're wasting your time.  Evil people and greedy people ARE prepared.

  6. "War is a continuation of politics by other means." - Carl Von Clausewitz

    What that means is exactly what it says, war is used as an instrument of politicians to accomplish a certain task where diplomacy cannot be used.

  7. The point of war is to kill people and break things until your enemy surrenders.

    I don't know what it proves but why does it have to prove anything?

  8. Sadly, I can't see that it "proves" anything.  It doesn't even demonstrate anything.

    War is about politics and money.  Oh, we'd like to pull on the Mantle of Righteousness and claim we're liberating or saving or something like that, but it doesn't wash when one looks at which wars we got into and which we didn't.

    The point is somebody getting their way.

  9. Depends on what's at stake. If someone's invading, you go to war to "prove" you deserve that land or resource(s).

    Otherwise...well...figure that one out and we're on the way to world peace.

    Bottom Line:

    War = people being stupid.

    Because you can't fix stupid, we'll always have war.
