Well I just turned 21yrs old, I was wondering what kinda drink is similar to a sweet and sour amaretto? I could hardly taste the alcohol. What would be a good alcoholic drink that doesn't taste so much like alcohol? kinda like a fruity drink..

  1. Ahhh I remember when I turned 21 and only liked fruity drinks! I think you'll find this website quite helpful:

  2. We were all once like you and looking for something that wasn't going to knock our socks off!  Funny thing about and Amaretto Sour.  Where I learned to bartend you put in Squirt (you know the soda pop) instead of sweet and sour.  Honestly, almost everywhere else I have gone, they all use sweet and sour.  But the Squirt is a better mix, try it!  It is also a great mix for whiskey or bourbon.  However, feel free to try rum and orange juice or run and pineapple juice or vodka and one of these juices.  s*x on the Beach has 1000 different ways to make it, but I have found the best response from 1oz Malibu Rum, .5 oz Peach schnapps, 3oz pineapple juice, 3 oz orange juice, and optional dash of cream, and optional dash of grenadine.  If you don't have all of that... Malibu and Orange juice will do well.  Captain Morgan is good too when mixed with juices or with cola.  Easiest:  Vodka and Lemonade is very refreshing.  Rule of thumb:  1 oz liquor to 6 oz mix (juice, soda).  Fill a glass with ice, add liquor, then add mix.  If the first drink was too weak put in less mix the next time.

  3. try a bottle of arbor mist.

  4. You may like a Margarita, or coconut rum over ice.  Just be careful, when you can't taste the alcohol the drinks can really creep up on you!

  5. well personly i like to drink shots because they get you drunk and you dont really get a chance to taste them if you down it one!

  6. I think you would really like a cherry vodka sour.
