What Drum Set is Good For Beginners?

Okay so I'm a new drummer and am looking for a drum set from $200-$350 and I really need to know which set would be the best for me. So if you know one thats cheap then please tell me. Also if you know a cheap electric kit then I could consider that.

go for a low line Mapex, DW, Pacific, Tama or Yamaha....you don't want to go too cheap they'll fall apart on you. Electric kits suck in my opinion. Check musiciansfriend.com for some really good deals

Try musicians friend, you check under the clearance items, and see about pearl, DW or Yamaha something like that
