  1. I spent 4 months in Caceres in Extremadura. The most 'extreme' thing I experienced was the Carnival celebration in Badajoz. It is the 3rd biggest party in Spain and for 3 days you can party in the street all night and all day. Carnival occurs at the beginning of the Lent season.

    Oh and don't forget your costume...
