What Economic/Tax Policies Lead Americans to Have Few Kids ?

People often say we need immigrants because we don't produce enough offspring in the US to do the work.

If we don't produce enough people to work why are there hundreds of thousands who cannot find jobs?

I would say it is more education then taxes. The more educated and secular people the fewer children are born. You know these are the people that understand about how birth control works and now have choice in having children. Where the more religious Catholic, or worse Evangelicals will refuse to use any form of contraceptive and not even understand the use of these devices. These are the more angry ignorant section the of our population that like to say we are a Christian Nation or some such idiocy, as if they had never took US history. You know the non-critical thinkers out there they like being told not finding out.
