What FRUIT flavors taste best with chocolate?

Question

Just curious – what fruits and/or fruit flavors do you think are the best complement to chocolate? (in cake, candy, ice cream, cocktails, whatever...)

My faves are chocolate/orange and chocolate/raspberry, but I also like chocolate/strawberry and chocolate/cherry.

I’m sure some people’s favorites are similar to mine, but I’m also sure that some people like something COMPLETELY different! :) I’m eager to hear it all!

Frozen bananas dipped in chocolate with chocolate sprinkles. Yum-O

I know coconut is delicious with chocolate.

Dried apricots are also good dipped in chocolate. Mmmmm.

The only way to know is to experiment. Go to the grocery store and pick up a bunch of different kinds of fruit along with different types of chocolate. Its best to pair sweet with bitter but you can do whatever you like.

Personally I like the orange/dark chocolate and dipped strawberry combos, but I think that maybe sometime I'd like to try maybe a pear/milk chocolate combo?

Ive tried many chocolate combinations but not many chocolate and fruits. Chocolate is chocolate to me, all delicious!

i like to dip bananas in chocolate and freeze them. they are so good! it has a serving of fruit and if you use dark choc it is really good for you and tasty! i do the same with blueberries.
