I am overwhelmed with brands of faucets. I don't want to overpay nor want a leaky inferior one. What ones are dependable with out paying too much. I am remodeling.

  1. i am a plumber and it depends.

i love Moen but if you are a homeowner i would recommend a Delta 2 handle.  they last forever and are relatively inexpensive and are very very easy to rebuild.

NOTE: i did state 2 "HANDLED" as opposed to single handle!

  2. Kohler is nice, but quite pricey. I have very good experience with

American Standard or Moen, ranges of prices, great selection, very good quality and parts easy to get.

  3. I love Kohler faucets.  However, when I lived in Austin, TX, I lived in the "not rich" part of town and my plumber didn't keep parts for Kohler products on his truck - because most people in my area of town didn't pay that much for their plumbing fixtures.  I still have Kohler (many years later) and when we had to replace the washers, Kohler provided them for free by mail and my husband installed them.
