  1. I'm with The Dragon - this other r****d needs to stop pouting.

NOBODY investigates CRIMES that haven't occured, because if they haven't occured, there is no crime.  And don't start with me about investigating the planning of a crime, because the planning of a crime (usually a felony) is a crime in itself.  If someone is investigating something that hasn't happened, it's not a crime, and they aren't investigating -- they're predicting.

Perhaps you'd like to rephrase the question.

  2. The Dragon is right, but are you aware that all police/sheriff   dept have a CRIME PREVENTION UNIT, assigned to prevent crime ?

  3. The United States Department of Clairvoyants.

    I hurt I337's feelings.

  4. Stop with the sarcasm, The Dragon.  The FBI investigates crimes, both those having occurred and those which have the potential to occur.
