What Footy Show is more entertaining AFL or NRL?

The NRL version is more slapstick and very little football news but the AFL version is more talk and news

Did anybody see both shows last night the player reviews on the NRL i thought were very ordinary where the AFL players review was very entertaining partically the Collingwood review with the nuns and the giant picture of Eddie (no i am not a pie supporter) just wondering what other people think

  1. They are both good, but because the AFL show has Sam Newman, they get my vote. The reason is that you never know what you are going to get with Sam... he is policically INCORRECT....rips of Eddie all the time, asks the most inane questions. In these days where all the broadcasters try and fit the mould, Sam is a magnificent abberation!

  3. They're both very blokey but the AFL show has a bit more polish to it.

    Speakup you are a moron.  The world doesn't revolve around Sydney.  Whilst I respect others right to follow whatever code, AFL is by farrrrrrrrr the most popular code; always has and will be.  NRL is popular in 2 states? Seems more like a sport that only some northerners are vaguely interested in?

  4. I watched both finales last night, NRL was better, but like that guy said, Sam Newman is very funny. The combined show wasn't bad, but why the h**l did someone like Eddy host it

    However the AFL show has come up with some great segments, who could forget "House of Bulger".

  9. this is what annoys me. afl is so much better than nrl but when it comes to the footy shows the afl one sucks so mad is painful. i dont like nrl but i watch that fotty show religiously. its so entertaining and funny.

    who the h**l is gonna stay up to watch the alf footy show. the jus sit there n talk in slow mo. they need some real presenters to even come close to the nrl footy show.

    Because Rugby League is boring!

    Having said that, I quite like the NRL version, but being an AFL fan I prefer the AFL one.

  12. I think the A.F.L. Footy Show is more entertaining. Love him or hate him, Sam Newman is a great television personality.

  13. well with Eddie running channel nine now .. u would have to say AFL footy show .... the thursday night NRL footy has lost the plot .... and Eddie would be lovin to see the NRL footy show rating go down.  He has already recked rugby league on tv.
