  1. OBVIOUSLY NOT PE

  2. I'd reckon it would probably help to take Food Technology (Domestic Science or whatever you want to call it!). Perhaps Business Studies might be useful at some point as well.

  3. At least 4 GCSEs, A*-C.  Although there are no specific subject requirements, I would go for English Language, Maths, Food Technology and either Biology or Chemistry.  These will all be of use to you throughout your career as a chef, and they will also be useful if you change your mind.

  4. Well when i went to college to train to be a chef i only needed four C's in any subject and i don't think it's changed much. Being a chef is not so much about being academic, it's about a passion for the job. I know a lot of Head Chefs who don't actually care about it that much, they would rather have someone in the kitchen who is hard working and keen to learn than a truckful of exams. If you want some advice, ask around and see if you can get a part time job in a hotel or restaurant kitchen with a good reputation. A good chef likes to take keen youngsters under their wing to teach them the trade and you may either end up getting a job there or at least having a good reference

  5. MC Donald's for you mate,,,,, no quallys there then
